Adopt-A Child Murry's Rocket Time is hosting a pickleball tournament Friday, Nov. 22nd to raise money for Adopt A Child. Teams of 2 will pay a $10 entry fee. It will be double elimination. Winners will enjoy the lunch of their choice the following week!

Tennis club will meet one last time tomorrow (Tuesday) after school, in Mr. Burnett’s room and then travel by bus to the CHS tennis courts.
The Royster Winter Band Concert date has been changed. The concert will take place with Chanute High School on Monday, Dec. 16. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the CHS auditorium.
Reminder to all students: Please remember that our dress code expectations apply to all students. You must follow the rules. IF you show up to school with clothes that are not compliant with our dress code rules, we will assume you are intentionally not following them, and you will be assigned to ISS for the day.
School IDs: The price for IDs is $2.50. That will get you the ID and the sleeve. If you need a lanyard the cost will be $3.50.
According to the handbook: All students are to be off school grounds unless under supervision of a teacher or coach. That means, no hanging around in the commons or other areas, including outside on the school grounds. If you are done with a teacher at 3:15, please come to the office and call for a ride home. The 4:00 bus is intended for those who are staying for ESD/EADs, tutoring, etc. and are here until 3:45 or 4:00. If you are done with one teacher at 3:15, it is okay to find another one who can supervise you reading or working, but you must be sitting in a classroom if you are sticking around.
All enrollment forms can be completed and fees paid online.
Students who finished the 2018-2019 school year with Chanute Public Schools sould have received an email with directions and a code to enroll online. Parents who did not receive a code or whose email has changed should use the link below to update their address.
To enroll, parents of returning or new-to-district and kindergarten students should go to the Enroll Online Tab Button on the district’s website. Click on the link for new student OR returning student.
School offices are open for parents who want to use a school computer to enroll. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
